Join historian Dennis Picard and learn about the ice harvesting trade which was once the 9th largest industry in the United States. He’ll share the tale of this once-massive enterprise, including Pelham’s participation. He’ll bring a display of antique tools of the trade and invite interested attendees to handle some of them. This event is co-sponsored with the Pelham Historical Society.
