SUMMARY:Artist's Reception: "Light Beckons" by Gillian Haven
DESCRIPTION:For Pelham artist Gillian Haven\, to paint is to pay attention to a place\, to notice the silent companionship of hills\, the elation of water\, unexpected openings or the sight of livestock in a field. The paintings in her current exhibit celebrate the fluid light and movement that animate the landscape’s scenic imagery. Come meet the artist. Her exhibit will be on display in the Ramsdell Room through October.
