“Beauty in Pelham” by local artist Agnes Zsigmondi McCraven, will be on view through mid-January in the Ramsdell Room.

HOME DELIVERY

Are you or someone you know unable to come to the library due to illness or disability? We are now partnering with the Pelham Council on Aging to offer home delivery of library materials on Friday mornings. Music for Little Ones, Mondays, 10:30 – 11 a.m.  Join Wendy Plummer for music time! All are welcome, but this event is particularly suited for children from birth through age 5.


Playgroup & Storytime with Dana, Fridays, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.  Bring your little one and join Dana, our Playgroup coordinator, for storytime and fun, a different theme every week!


Teen Dungeons & Dragons, Wednesdays, January 11 & 25, 5 – 7 p.m.  Space is very limited; call or email if you’re interested in joining our ongoing campaign led by Dungeon Master Tony Page. See Events Calendar for additional dates.

Teen/Tween Open Game Night, Wednesdays, January 18, February 1, 5 – 7 p.m. Board games, card games and more! This drop-in event is open to teens and tweens in 7th through 12th grade. See Events Calendar for additional dates.


Yoga with Sara Coblyn, Thursdays and Saturdays through February 16, 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. Note:  There is currently a wait list for this class.–contact the Library to be added. This is a vinyassa style yoga class led by Sara Coblyn of Sweet Roots Gardens. Please bring a mat.

Open Mahjong Group, Saturday, January 28, 12:30 – 2 p.m. Come play Mahjong with us! We will meet twice a month in the Ramsdell Room. Beginners are welcome, and if you’re not ready to jump in and play, you are welcome to watch until you are.


Monthly Reiki Meditation Circle, Tuesday, February 7, 6 – 6:45 p.m. Kristin Famighette, Reiki Master Teacher, will help you enjoy the benefits of healing energy by providing the structure to find mindful moments in the everyday. Open to ages 18+ and no prior meditation or reiki experience is required. See the Events Calendar for additional dates through June.

Anti-Racism Resources

An extensive list of anti-racism materials are available at the Pelham Free Public Library.  The list is grouped by four levels:  pre-K to 2nd grade, 3rd-6th grade, middle and high school, and adult, and additional resources are being acquired.
